A KOU Professor Published a Research Article with Springer

Salah I. Yahya; Koya University; MHEProfessor Salah I. Yahya from the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Koya University with a research group from Iran and Vietnam published a research article entitled “The use of artificial neural network to design and fabricate one of the most compact microstrip diplexers for broadband L-band and S-band wireless applications” in the Wireless Networs. 
Wireless Networks journal is indexed by Clarivate Analytics with IF =2.659 and by SCOPUS with quartile Q2.

A KOU Academic Explains the Recent Events in the Region

The Middle Eastern region has been ravaged in recent years by facts and events that place their countries in the context of fundamental and historical transformations. Koya University academics could not stand neutral without contributing to the understanding and interpretation of these events and their change, whether by presenting reference papers at international conferences and institutions or through media activity by presenting political analysis and vision on the platforms of most important Arab satellite channels. 

KOU Announced the Student Names of the Post Graduate Studies for the Academic Year 2019-2020

After the Ministry of Higher Education approval on the preliminary results of the oral higher education exams, Koya University (KOU) announed the student names list of the higher education studies for the academic year 2019-2020.

A KOU Professor Published a Research Article with Elsevier

AEU JournalProfessor Salah I. Yahya from the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Koya University with a research group from Iran, Vietnam and Malaysia published a research article entitled “A Novel Miniaturized Microstrip Lowpass-bandpass Diplexer Using Patch and Interdigital Cells for Wireless Networks” in the AEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications.

On July 22nd, join Dr. Kenneth Christie, Mr. Saleh Moslem, Mr. Haval Ahmad, Ms. Emma MacTavish, and Dr. Sarbast Nabi for a virtual workshop entitled: Rojava and the Kurds: Human security, gender and peacebuilding in the de facto region in Northeastern Syria. KOU Held an International Workshop with Warsaw University of Life Sciences WULS – SGGW, University of Mosul and Cihan University-Erbil

Presidents of Warsaw University of Life Sciences WULS – SGGW, University of Mosul and Cihan University-ErbilKoya University with Warsaw University of Life Sciences WULS – SGGW, University of Mosul and Cihan University-Erbil held an international workshop on Thursday, 2nd of July 2020. The workshop entitled “Crisis Management in the Higher Education Sector during COVID - 19: Opportunities and Limitations” was for 2 hrs online on Google Hangouts Meet. This workshop is one of the fruitful collaboration and the memorandum of understanding that signed between Koya University and the other three universities. The Director General, Dr. Govand Sherwani, participated the workshp with an important speech on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education - KRI.

KOU PARTICIPATES AT AN ONLINE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM AS A SPEAKER

Public Works StudioDr. Sahar Basil M. Al-Qaisi the assistant professor at the department of architectural engineering and the director of the Heritage Conservation Research Program (HCRP) at Koya University was invited to speak about documenting Koya Historic Town experience in the international symposium on (Urban Struggles in the Arab Region: Exchanging Experiences and Methodologies) that is organized by the Public Works Studio in Beirut.
