A Student from Koya University Placed 4th in an International Competition
In the Middle East and North Africa SPE Student Paper Competition, Srwa Salam Ali, a student at Koya University's Faculty of Engineering's Department of Petroleum Engineering, took fourth place.
The Sultanate of Oman's capital city of Muscat hosted a Middle Eastern scientific competition on Tuesday, April 2024. After choosing ten finalists from among 1,300 students from Middle Eastern universities, the tournament was set up. Among the chosen students was Srwa Salam Ali from the Faculty of Engineering's Petroleum Department.
Remarkably, Asst. Lect. Mohammed Jamal supervised the research project that student Sarwa Salam Ali accomplished. It was named "Effects of corn fiber additive on water-based mud filtration property" and was presented.
