In recognition of his continued support for Koya University, particularly during the preparations and organization of the 3rd International Conference on Oil under the theme "Waste Management in the Oil and Gas Industry," held from April 28 to 30, 2024, the President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, presented a plaque of appreciation to the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Mr. Ahmed Ihsan Mufti.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, visited Mr. Ahmed Ihsan Mufti at the Ministry of Natural Resources in Erbil.

During the visit, the university president highlighted Mr. Mufti's role in preparing for the conference, particularly in facilitating the participation of companies, and commended his efforts in making the conference a success.

In their meeting, the president discussed the accomplishments and recommendations of the conference, emphasizing the positive impact it had on both national and international levels.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of Koya University presented a plaque of appreciation to Mr. Ahmed Ihsan Mufti, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
