Lecturer "Aram Osman Aziz," from the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering, Koya University, participated in the 5th International Conference on Civil Engineering Fundamentals and Applications (ICCEFA 2024) held in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, with a collaborative research effort alongside four other researchers.

From October 18 to 20, 2024, the international conference "The 5th International Conference on Civil Engineering Fundamentals and Applications (ICCEFA 2024)" was held in Lisbon, Portugal.

Dr. Aram Osman Aziz presented a collaborative research paper titled "Inhibition of Karstification Progressing in Soluble Rocks under Water Pressure Using Chemical Grouts" during the conference.

Participation of faculty members and researchers from Koya University in international workshops and conferences, as well as conducting impactful collaborative research, forms a significant part of the university’s strategic plan, particularly under its core focus on “Research and Innovation,” aimed at fostering effective and successful research initiatives.
