Koya University President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq, chaired Human Resource Development Committee meeting under Strategic Plan pillar.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, the President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq, chaired the meeting of the Human Resource Development Committee within the Resource Development Pillar of Koya University’s 2023–2027 Strategic Plan. The meeting was held with the preparation and participation of the Committee Head and Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr.Yadgar Abdulla Ali; the Head of the Strategic Planning Registration Committee, Prof.Dr. Luqman Wissu; the Director of Media Directorate,Asst.Lect. Mohammed Karim Seyidgul; and other members of the Human Resource Development Committee.

During the meeting, the President of Koya University emphasized the importance of the university’s strategic plan, noting that as the first university in the Kurdistan Region, it announced its five-year plan and is committed to prioritizing the implementation of its plan’s pillars over mere promotion.

He then discussed the goals and strategies of the fourth pillar of Koya University’s strategic plan and called on the committee to work diligently on executing this pillar and to reflect their efforts in the university’s activities.

As the Head of the Human Resource Development Committee and Vice to the President of Koya University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst.Prof.Dr. Yadgar Abdulla Ali expressed his sincere appreciation to the President of Koya University for his vision and efforts in preparing the strategic plan. He underscored the committee’s full commitment to diligently working towards the implementation of its designated pillar.

Subsequently, the committee members presented their insights and recommendations concerning the committee’s responsibilities and outlined their plans for future endeavors. It is noteworthy that the focus on “Enhancing Human Resources and Administrative Staff Efficiency” constitutes a key component of the fourth pillar of Koya University’s Strategic Plan for the years 2023–2027.
