In recognition of athletic distinction and student empowerment, Koya University President Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana hosted a special reception to honor the student-athletes and supervising faculty members of both the men’s and women’s university table tennis teams.

Celebrating Athletic Success with Senior Leadership

The reception, held at the Koya University Presidency, celebrated the outstanding achievements of the university's table tennis delegations. Underlining Koya University's competitive edge, the women's table tennis team secured first place, while the men's team earned third place in the recent Kurdistan Universities Table Tennis Championship.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali, Vice President for Higher Education Affairs Prof. Dr. Hoshiar Zaki, Vice President for Student Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Azheen Tahir Sabir, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Abdullah, Council Secretary Asst. Lect. Chya Jawhar, and Director of Sports and Artistic Activities Mr. Dler Kamal.
