The Faculty of Physical Education at Koya University conducted a workshop entitled " Various Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Methods in The Sports Field”

On Sunday, December 4, 2022, a workshop various therapeutic and rehabilitative methods in the sports field was held by the Faculty of Physical Education at the Seminar Hall of the Faculty.

The workshop began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Abdullah Fattah.

The workshop consisted of two panels, first one managed by M. Twana Shaker Issa, and presented by Prof. Dr. Abbas Hussein Sultani, Prof. Dr. Zeinab Abdul Ali, And the second Panel managed by M. Saber Mohammed Khalid, and presented by Prof. Dr. Nihad Ayoub Qadir, Prof. Dr. Hazem Alwan Mansour.

The Faculty of Physical Education was established in recognition of the importance of sports in modern society. Its underlying aim is to raise the status and quality of physical education and educators in the interest of enhancing the quality of life for the whole community. It offers a scientifically-based program that has a notable record of improving athletic achievement in Kurdistan region and Iraq. The Department is committed to the improvement of physical performance and disease prevention through offering programs based on internationally recognized research that has practical implications in the field of health and sports.
