On Thursday, March 9, 2023, in the presence of the Koya University President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, the Governor of Koya District, Mr. Tariq Haidari, the Vice President of Koya University for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Qaraman Nader, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Safin Jalal, Director of Koya Education Directorate, Ms. Shahen Osman, Member of the Leadership Council of the Patriotic Union Of Kurdistan (PUK) Mrs. Fawzia Mohammed Nadheef and a significant number of teachers, their families and students the ceremony was arranged to award certificates of completion for the teacher training course.

The national anthem "Ay Raqib" and a standing ovation to honor the spirits of the Kurdish martyrs launched the ceremony.

Then, during a speech, Koya University's President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, underlined the value of collaboration between the university and the city's residents, particularly the Directorate of Education, and congratulated the teachers who participated in the training course. 

For her part, Ms. Shahen Osman, Director of Education at Koya, complemented Koya University for launching and managing the training course, which has eased a significant strain on teachers. She also commended the role played by Koya University's President in bringing about the course's opening.

After the speech of the representative of the lecturers, the awards were presented by Ms. Shahen, Director of Education of Koya, Koya University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq and the teachers of the course were Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ismail, Dr. Mohammed Nasser, Lect. Dalia Hashim, Asst. Lect. Bakhan Bakhtiar and Prof. Dr. Jabbar Ahmad.

Then, Mrs. Fawzia Mohammed Nadheef, Member of the Leadership Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) presented her awards to the top three participants of the training course.

The teachers then gave awards to the Koya University President, the Director of Education of Koya, the course's lectures, and a number of other lecturers who had contributed to the course's opening and success.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates and group pictures.
