Under the direction of Koya University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq and in the presence of a few council members, a special ceremony for the inauguration of the Director General of Research and Development Centers of Koya University was held.

The appointment of Asst. Prof. Dr. Galawezh Bakr Bapir as Director General of Research and Development Centers took place on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, under the direction of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, Koya University's President, and in the presence of a few members of the university council.

During the ceremony, Koya University's President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, congratulated Asst. Prof. Dr. Galawezh Bakr Bapir on her selection as Director General of the Directorate of Research and Development Center. He expressed the hope that this directorate could have a positive impact in its field, particularly in improving the quality of research and thereby influencing Koya University's ranking in both domestic and international fields of information.

A recent institution, the General Directorate of Research and Development Centers of Koya University, currently includes mullahs, engineering, health, and scientific research centers.
