A Koya University's Lecturer participated in the first international conference of women entitled "Women in the Mirror of Society and History". This international conference was held by the University of Sulaymaniyah and Cihan University - Sulaymaniyah on December 7 and 8 2023.

Asst.Prof.Dr. Hoshmand Ali Mahmood, Head of the History department at the Faculty of Education, at Koya University, in partnership with Asst.Lect. Zamdar Ahmad Rasul Ph.D. student at Koya University, presented a paper entitled “Najiba Mullah Mohammad Jalizadeh Koyi, Life and Role in Writing History ''. in the first International Women's Conference This conference was held in Sulaymaniyah on 7 and 8 December 2023 by the University of Sulaimani and Cihan University-Sulaimaniya.
