President of Koya University Welcomes Advisor to the President of Iraq for Mass Graves Affairs

The President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, welcomed Ms. Pary Nuri Aziz, Advisor to the President of Iraq for Mass Graves Affairs, during a special meeting.

On Monday, October 7, 2024, during a formal meeting at Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq hosted Ms. Pary Nuri Aziz, Advisor to the President of Iraq for Mass Graves Affairs, along with Ms. Tavga Hama Salih Ahmed, Director of the Department of Martyrs and Anfal Victims in Koya, and Mr. Pshtiwan Siddiq Hama, President of the Kozhan Organization.

The meeting was attended by several members of the University Council. During the session, Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq expressed his gratitude for the visit of Ms. Pary Nuri Aziz and her delegation. He highlighted Koya University's readiness to fulfill its humanitarian and ethical responsibilities concerning issues related to mass graves and documenting the history and sacrifices of the martyrs.

For her part, Ms. Pary Nuri Aziz expressed her delight at visiting Koya University and appreciated the warm reception by the university’s presidency. She commended the role the university can play as an academic institution with advanced research capabilities and technological expertise in addressing mass graves-related issues.
