Meeting of the President of Koya University with the High Committee for Welcoming New Students

The President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, chaired a meeting of the High Committee tasked with organizing the welcoming process for newly admitted students.

On Monday, October 14, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq convened the meeting with various university administrators to discuss and establish protocols for receiving new students and ensuring a smooth enrollment process at Koya University.

The meeting was attended by: Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs Dr. Safia Saber, Director of General Admissions Mr. Muhammed Karim Saedgul, Director of Public Relations Mr. Alan Nahro, Director of Quality Assurance Ms. Zhavin Abdullah Mustafa, Director of IT Services Mr. Shiwaz Hawizi, Legal Affairs Director Mr. Karim Ahmed Hamad, Director of Dormitories Mr. Mariwan Razaq Hamed Amin, Finance Director Mr. Hawri Jabbar Hamad, Quality Assurance Officer.

During the meeting, the President emphasized the importance of thorough preparation by all relevant departments to ensure the smooth onboarding of new students. He called for efficient processes that minimize obstacles for students, including allocating a dedicated space for welcoming activities. He also directed the Public Relations Department to utilize social media platforms effectively to provide essential information and guidance to students.

Currently, high school graduates are eagerly awaiting the release of their admission results to various universities in the Kurdistan Region. Koya University remains one of the prominent choices for prospective students, making the committee's role in evaluating preparations and facilitating the admission process essential.
