Expanding its academic footprint on the global stage, Prof. Dr. Kamaran Aziz, a faculty member in the Department of History at the Faculty of Education at Koya University, participated in the "1st International Symposium on Seljuk Civilization" held in Turkey. The symposium's core theme focused on "Politics, Diplomacy, and Intelligence in the Seljuk Era."

The international symposium, convened from June 24 to June 26, 2026, brought together a diverse group of international researchers and scholars. Representing Koya University, Prof. Dr. Kamaran Aziz presented his distinct research paper titled: "The Policy of the Seljuk State Toward the Batiniyya in the Islamic East" The paper offered a rigorous historical analysis of the political and strategic dynamics during the Seljuk period, engaging with global perspectives in the field.
