Professor Salah I. Yahya from the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Koya University participated in the International Conference on Engineering, Science, and Industrial Applications (ICESI 2019) that was held in Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, during the period August 22-24, 2019. Prof. Yahya chaired a session on August 24, 2019 as well as presented his paper entitled: Wide Stopband Microstrip Diplexer Using a Novel Configuration for Frequency Division Duplex and GSM-4G Applications. Leila Noori received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronic engineering from Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran in 2005 and 2009 respectively. She received her Ph.D. in electronic engineering at the Shiraz University of Technology. Her research interests focus on artificial microstrip coupler, microstrip filter, neural networks and LNAs.

Mohd H. Jamaluddin received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing and telecommunications from the Universite´ de Rennes 1, France, in 2009, with a focus on microwave communication systems and especially antennas such as dielectric resonator and reflectarray and dielectric dome antennas. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Wireless Communication Centre, School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His research interests include dielectric resonator antennas, printed microstrip antennas, MIMO antennas and DRA reflectarray antennas.
