The Third course of pedagogy has ended at the Pedagogical Center of Koya University.
On Sunday, October 9, 2022, with the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq Zangana, President of Koya University and Asst. Prof. Dr. Haidar Lashkry Khidr V.P for scientific and postgraduate affairs the third course of pedagogy of Koya University ended in a special ceremony and the graduates were awarded certificates of participation.
Dr. Bnar Jawdat Ahmed, Director of the Center for Pedagogy and Academic Development at Koya University, said that the third course of pedagogy ended with the participation of 24 people, of which 19 participants graduated The learning center, skills, and teaching methods, which are generally adapted in line with the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Bologna Process system.
The Center for Pedagogy and Academic Development is a specialized university center established in November 2019 to develop the personal and academic skills of university and non-university staff.
The center seeks to support the academic and expertise of the university staff through various seminars and special events and annually opens pedagogical courses for obtaining scientific degrees.

KOU has two Scientific Journals; ARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University, which is indexed by Clarivate Analytics (ESCI), and Koya University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (KUJHSS). KOU is a proactive member of Erasmus/ Marhaba Project and Erasmus+. KOU signed many Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with many International Universities, e.g., The University of Arkansas (June 2015). The Lulea University in Sweden (April 2014), The University of Nottingham in the UK, The University of Buckingham in the UK (Oct 2008), Belkin University in Turkey (Sep 2009) The University of Greenwich in the UK, Cihan University-Erbil (2021) and Tishk International University (2021). Koya University is a memebr of The Association of Arab Universities and the International Association of Universities.
