On The 20th Anniversary of Its Founding, Koya University Opened Two New Projects in Faculty of Medicine

On Wednesday 11th October 2023 during the ceremony of the 20th anniversary of its founding and laying of the cornerstone of Koya University by The Honorable late President Jalal Talabani, the new cafeteria building and some new classrooms were opened at Koya University's, Faculty of Medicine.

In the presence of the Koya University president, Asst.Prof.Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq. Members of the University Council, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Dawan Jamal Hawezi, Students and Instructors of Medicine Faculty of Koya University, the new Cafeteria building, and some new study halls were opened.

Opening a new cafeteria building of Medicine faculty and new classrooms within the framework of the 20th anniversary of its founding and laying of the cornerstone of Koya University by the late president Jalal Talabani, the aim of these new buildings and opening the new study halls is to provide the best quality and institutional environment for the students of the Medical Faculty of KOU, for progression with science, professional information and academics in their field. This is within the framework of the core pillars of Koya University's strategic plan of building a green and strong university and healthy society.

It is worth mentioning that the Director of Engineering and Projects of Koya University designed and supervised the construction of a new cafeteria and new classrooms of the Faculty of Medicine.
