Asst. Prof. Dr. Keyfi Ahmad, a lecturer at the Kurdish Department of Koya University's Faculty of Education and a member of the "Shano" group for Street Theater in Koya, took home the second-place award for finest performance.

The sixth Baghdad International Street Theater Festival took place in Baghdad, the capital of the Federal Republic of Iraq, on November 9, 10, and 11, 2023. With the direction of the governors of Erbil and Koya District, “Shano” group from Koya city consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Keyfi Ahmad, lecturer at Koya University, Faraidoon Hamad-Amin; artist, and Hunar Tahir; director, participated in the festival and took home the second award for the most outstanding performance.

The sixth Baghdad International Street Theater Festival was named “Azeez Khayoor” and participated by 24 theater groups across Iraq Provinces and other countries. The festival presented awards for both best performances and best (actor and actress), it is worth mentioning that the group "Shano" for street theater was successful in this regard.
