Koya University's Department of Psychology and Education organized a seminar

"Expression of the Kurdish diaspora's second generation" was the topic of a seminar hosted by the Koya University Faculty of Education's Department of Education and Psychology.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, a seminar titled " Expression of the Kurdish diaspora's second generation " for Mr. Dilshad Taqana was held in the Presidency Hall of Koya University. Attendees included Asst. Prof. Dr. Rostam Salam Azeez, Vice President of Koya University for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ismail Mustafa, Head of the Department of Education and Psychology at Koya University. Other political and administrative members from Koya also attended.

The seminar started with a moment of silence to honor the memory of the Kurdish martyrs. Following this, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ismail Mustafa, Head of Koya University's Department of Education and Psychology, gave a welcome address and outlined the goal of the seminar.

Subsequently, Mr. Dilshad Taqana introduced the seminar's central theme, " Expression of the Kurdish diaspora's second generation."

Participants received a book authored by M. Dilshad Taqana at the conclusion of the session.

KOU has two Scientific Journals; ARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University, which is indexed by Clarivate Analytics (ESCI), and Koya University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (KUJHSS). KOU is a proactive member of Erasmus/ Marhaba Project and Erasmus+.

KOU signed many Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with many International Universities, e.g., The University of Arkansas (June 2015). The Lulea University in Sweden (April 2014), The University of Nottingham in the UK, The University of Buckingham in the UK (Oct 2008), Belkin University in Turkey (Sep 2009) The University of Greenwich in the UK, Cihan University-Erbil (2021) and Tishk International University (2021).

Koya University is a memebr of The Association of Arab Universities and the International Association of Universities.
