Koya University's third- and fourth-year Students at the Department of History went on a Field Trip to Zakho

Third and fourth-grade students from Koya University's Department of History at the Faculty of Education went on a scientific field trip to Zakho, South Kurdistan, to view the city's historical sites.

The field trip was to Zakho, South Kurdistan, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, to view the historical sites there. One of them was the ancient Dalal Bridge over the Khabur River.

Students from Koya University's Department of History visited Zakho and studied the construction of the Dalal Bridge, including its history and geometric and structural features.

Through its faculties and several specialised departments, Koya University continuously strives to build a harmonious academic image between intellectual topics and practical conversations. The goal is to enable students to apply the academic knowledge they have learned in the classroom.
