On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the Koya University Council held its sixteenth regular meeting in the Faculty of Science and Health building, with all members present and headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, the Koya University President.

The Faculty of Science and Health met with the President of Koya University before the meeting, wherein members of the University Council, Mr. Botan Anwar, the Director of the Engineering and Projects Directorate, and Tolaz Salah Hawez, the Chairman of the Electronic Equipment Purchase Committee, were present.

The heads of the departments at the Faculty of Science and Health addressed the demands on their departments' educational programs, including the shortage of labs and classroom space, during the meeting.

Koya University President approved the projects during the meeting to construct multiple rooms for the faculty teachers, furnish the Department of Computer Science with a computer lab, and provide everything that the faculty laboratories need to take the required actions.

The university council meeting then started following the agenda.
