Three students of DPET at Koya University, took part in a Scientific Development Program in the UAE

Diako Kamaran Saadi, Aland Omed Abas, and Ahmad Mahmood Ahmad, at Koya University's Faculty of Engineering, Petroleum Engineering Department Participated in a Scientific Development Program in the UAE.

The three students of the Petroleum Engineering Department took a part as the representatives of the Kurdistan Region and whole Iraq as well. 

Koya University's Students were part of the 40 students who participated in the Energy Scientific Development Program for 2023 entitled "SPE ADIPEC University Programme 2023" in coordination with THE SPE Organization with The Khalifa University and the National Energy Organization "ADNOC" was conducted in the UAE on October 1, 2023.

This program is an excellent and important opportunity for Students in Engineering, to gain scientific and academic experience in the field of energy, the more significant of that, in the field of Oil and Gas. This year, at KOU three students of the Petroleum Engineering Department were able to benefit from this Chance to progress their professional and academic levels.

This program accepts students in the Middle East and North Africa annually, and this is an excellent experience for the future of professional oil and gas students.

The program gave students the necessary clarity and the latest developments and technologies in the field of oil and gas, also a variety of activities were included, such as seminars, workshops, scientific panels, visits to the National Oil Company in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates
