At Koya University, A workshop on Methods & Research Design is being held
Koya University is Conducting a Workshop entitled Methods & Research Design, it's during a Joint workshop with the Ulster University in Northern Ireland, at the Pedagogy and Academic Development Center (PADC).
The workshop is being held for three days from October 22 to 25, 2023 at Koya University's Pedagogy and Academic Development Center. The main objective of the workshop is to discuss research methodologies in the field of education in general and peacebuilding in conflict situations in particular.
Prof.Dr. Kelsey Shanks, Participated as the representative of The Ulster University in the joint project of Koya University and the University of Ulster, Also Securing financial support from the British Academy, at the same time she is a speaker and presenter in that series of workshops.
In a media statement to Koya University, she expressed her pleasure about the capabilities of the research team of Koya University consisting of 14 participants, and appreciated the active participation of these researchers in the discussions and topics of the workshops.
These workshops are the cornerstones of a joint project between Koya University and Ulster University, supported by the British Academy. This project has been able to create valuable coordination between Koya University and Ulster University, and we look forward to the next steps to implement the joint research project of both sides.
The three-day workshop panels include a quick introduction to research methodologies and research design (quality, quantity, and mixed methodology).
It will be presented by Dr. Sherko Kirmanj, Nidal Al-haj Sleiman, Dr. Karwan Mustafa Saeed, and Dr. Mustafa Wshyar Abdulla.
Dr. Sherko Kermanj, who presented the subjects in this workshop, pointed out that this workshop explains the different methods and procedures of research to researchers, while providing appropriate methods and methods for their research, which means that the researchers do not only take a method for research, but also the most appropriate method to achieve the purpose of the research.
