Third-year students of the Department of Petroleum Engineering. Also, second, Third, and fourth-year students of the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering at KOU, conducted two scientific trips.

On Monday, November 6, 2023, the Third-year students of the Department of Petroleum Engineering of Koya University organized a scientific trip to EDC Romford Ltd.

This scientific trip aimed to get acquainted with how well drilling machines work in the oil extraction process.  Lect. Awara Ghafoor supervised the trip and during the trip Engineer, Sarwar Salam gave necessary explanations to the students about the well drilling process and how the equipment works.

Meanwhile, during another scientific trip organized by  Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering of KOU. For second, third, and fourth-year students of the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, the students visited the Sulaimani Polytechnic University under the supervision of Lect: Sleman Yahya Rasul and the assistants of engineer Hoshmand Akram Molud and Rebaz Kawa Omar.

This trip was organized on Thursday, November 9, 2023, to introduce students to scientific experimentation and how to use and manufacture equipment and processes.
