The Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Koya University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Abdullah, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Amira Mohammed Daham participated in an international conference held at the University of Misan.

On October 16, 2024, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Abdullah and Assist. Prof. Dr. Amira Mohammed Daham from Koya University's Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences participated in the "First International Conference on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Sports Education Sciences," organized by the University of Misan.

During the second day of the conference, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nabaz Abdullah chaired the panel for discussing research papers presented in the second session, which included five scientific studies.

Meanwhile, Assist. Prof. Dr. Amira Mohammed Daham presented a collaborative scientific paper at the conference and was also a member of the committee for discussing the research papers of the first session on the second day.

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Koya University, through its professors and researchers, maintains academic relations with universities in central and southern Iraq. It actively participates in workshops and conferences as panel chairs and co-researchers.
