In Recognition of Its Support: Koya University Delegation Visits Anzu Foundation 

A high-level delegation from Koya University, led by President Professor Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, paid an official visit to the Anzu Foundation. 

The delegation was received by the Chairperson of the Foundation, Ms. Tola Sheikh Janab. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and express gratitude for the Foundation's continuous support of the university’s projects.

During the meeting, held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the President of Koya University presented an award of appreciation and a congratulatory bouquet to Ms. Tola, praising the vital role the Anzu Foundation plays in supporting the university’s academic mission.

Logistical Support and a Sustainable Campus

 In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq highlighted the Foundation’s exceptional efforts, particularly in logistics. He noted that the Foundation's initiative to provide fuel for student dormitories during the past winter played a crucial role in creating a stable and suitable environment for students, allowing them to focus on their studies despite seasonal challenges.

Green Partnership and Environmental Responsibility 

Furthermore, the President emphasized the strategic cooperation in the environmental sector, commending the Foundation’s support for the "Green University" initiative. He specifically noted its contribution to the success of the "Plant Your Tree and Grow With  Koya University" campaign for newly admitted students of the 2025-2026 academic year. He stressed that this initiative aims not only to increase green spaces on campus but also to instill environmental responsibility and foster a deeper connection between students and nature.

A Shared Vision for Academic Support 

For her part, Ms. Tola Sheikh Janab expressed her pleasure regarding the visit, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to ongoing coordination with Koya University. She emphasized that supporting educational institutions, especially in projects related to environmental protection and sustainable development, is a top priority for the Foundation.

The meeting was attended by a delegation including the V.P. for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azheen Tahir Sabir; the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Galawezh Bakr Bapir; the Secretary of the University Council, Mr. Chya Jowhar Omer; the Director of Relations, Dr. Pakhshan Fahmi Farho; the Director of Media, Asst. Lecturer Muhammed Karim Saedgul; and Engineer Mohammed Abdullah Jalal.
