A poster exhibition was held for students in the fourth stage of the administration and accounting department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Koya University.

On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, with the presence of the President of Koya University, Asst.Prof.Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Asst.Prof.Dr. Shwan Omar Khder, members of the Council of Koya University and head  Department of Administration and Accounting Dr. Brwa Sardar, Lecturers and students of the Department of  Administration and Accounting in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Koya University, a poster exhibition was held for students of the fourth stage of the Department of  Administration and Accounting.

The exhibition was organized by the Headship of the Department of Administration and Accounting under the supervision of The instructor Dr. Dalia Khalid in light of the "Student Success" pillar of Koya University's strategic plan which aimed to provide opportunities to demonstrate students' abilities in their field of study and to familiarize the community with the effectiveness of these scientific departments in academic and professional fields.

Student posters included topics such as strategic management, internally organized environment, strategic selection, strategic positioning, external environment and organizational industrial environment presented by students in groups.

The head of the administration and accounting department at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Koya University, Dr. Brwa Sardar, pointed out the importance and purpose of managing the exhibition, noting that they have managed this activity in light of the university's strategic plan and the main pillar of "student success", and at the same time, we aim to convey the message that the subject of "administration" and "management" is a sensitive and important issue of society. "This exhibition gives students confidence and demonstrates their abilities in their field of study.

Students mentioned the importance of having a strategy and leading that strategy, they pointed out that this strategy can be a guide for the future and achieving the goals step by step.

Koya University, as a university that has developed its strategic plan for five years and is one of the main pillars of the "Student Success" plan, continues to try to better and more effectively familiarize students with their academic and personal skills and abilities, while preparing them for the future to meet the needs of society in the field of education.

Koya University (KOU) is located in the city of Koya (Koy Sanjaq) which is 1.0 hr drive to the East of the Kurdistan Region capital Erbil (Arbil, Hewlér) in Kurdistan Region of F.R. Iraq. KOU has two Scientific Journals; ARO-The Scientific Journal of Koya University, which is indexed by Clarivate Analytics (ESCI), and Koya University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (KUJHSS). KOU is a proactive member of Erasmus/ Marhaba Project and Erasmus+.

KOU signed many Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with many International Universities, e.g., The University of Arkansas (June 2015). The Lulea University in Sweden (April 2014), The University of Nottingham in the UK, The University of Buckingham in the UK (Oct 2008), Belkin University in Turkey (Sep 2009) The University of Greenwich in the UK, Cihan University-Erbil (2021) and Tishk International University (2021).

Koya University is a memebr of The Association of Arab Universities and the International Association of Universities.
