The President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, visited the dormitories of Koya University and met with the .director and administrative staff of the dormitory management team

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, the President of Koya University, accompanied by the Assistant to the President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali; the Director of Engineering and Projects, Engineer Botan Anwar; Engineer Balen Anwar from the Engineering and Projects Department; and the Director of Media, Mr. Mohammed Karim Sidgool, visited the Dormitory Administration. The visit aimed to assess the progress of renovation and preparation efforts for welcoming students. During the visit, they held a meeting with the administrative staff and block supervisors.

At the start of the meeting, the President emphasized the importance of meeting all the dormitory requirements and providing a comfortable and suitable environment for students. He stressed the urgency of resolving any outstanding issues as quickly as possible to ensure the readiness of rooms for students.

The President further highlighted the need to create an ideal living environment for students in terms of services and facilities while simultaneously improving opportunities for effective learning and study.

Later, the President inspected all five dormitory blocks to closely monitor the progress of preparations.

Koya University has undertaken extensive renovation and repair work this summer, including upgrading heating and cooling systems, fixing fan coil units, repainting upper floors and several rooms, sealing cracks, and addressing structural issues in the dormitories.

Additionally, for the third consecutive year, Koya University has implemented an electronic dormitory reservation system, enabling students to easily select their preferred rooms online from the comfort of their homes.
