Three-Day Training Course Held at the Faculty of Engineering, Koya University
The Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Koya University, is conducting a three-day training workshop on Heritage Preservation for the academic staff of Koya University and the Koya City Antiquities Directorate.
From October 27 to 29, 2024, the Department of Architecture is organizing this workshop aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of academic staff and professionals from the Koya City Antiquities Directorate. As part of the practical and applied component of the workshop, participants will visit historical and archaeological sites in the city of Koya and engage directly with real-world heritage preservation issues.
This workshop is in line with Koya University's strategic focus on "Community Service", and provides academic staff and instructors with essential knowledge on heritage preservation techniques. The emphasis is particularly on safeguarding ancient and historical landmarks, ensuring that participants are equipped with the tools needed to contribute effectively to preserving cultural and historical heritage.
