A delegation from Koya University participated in a workshop held at the University of Sulaymaniyah titled "Academic Quality Assurance for Education Faculties' Programs."

On October 17, 2024, the Koya University delegation, led by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Hishyar Zaki, and included the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Safin Jalal, and an administrative assistant in the Quality Assurance Directorate, Mr. Hawri Jabbar, participated in the workshop focused on the process of "Academic Quality Assurance for Education Faculties' Programs."

The workshop, hosted at the University of Sulaymaniyah, gathered numerous deans of education faculties from universities across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. The discussions covered mechanisms for ensuring the quality of academic programs and certifications of education faculties, as well as guidance and procedures for implementing the standards set by the National Accreditation Board for Education Faculties' Programs.

At the end of the workshop, a participation certificate was awarded to the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Koya University, Dr. Safin Jalal.
