Koya University Delegation, Led by the University President, Visits Sulaymaniyah Companies Directorate

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, a distinguished delegation from Koya University, headed by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, conducted an official visit to the Directorate of Company Registration in Sulaymaniyah. 

The visit aimed to strengthen institutional ties and express the university’s appreciation for the ongoing cooperation with the private sector.

The delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, included the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali; the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Galawizh Bakir Bapir; the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elham Majid Qader; and the Director of Media, Asst. Lect. Muhammed Karim Saedgul. They were received by the Director of the Sulaymaniyah Companies Directorate, Mr. Soran Ahmed Ismail.

During the discussions, the President of Koya University emphasized the critical importance of fostering synergy between academic institutions and private sector companies. 

Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, highly commended the professional role and continuous support provided by Mr. Soran Ahmed Ismail in bridging the gap between the university and the business community.

In response, the Director of the Sulaymaniyah Companies Directorate welcomed the Koya University delegation and expressed his full readiness to facilitate collaboration and build strong partnerships between the university and various regional companies.

 As a gesture of gratitude, the President of Koya University presented an "Award of Appreciation" to Mr. Soran Ahmed Ismail. 

This visit aligns with Koya University’s 2023-2027 Strategic Plan, which focuses on enhancing local and international coordination to drive academic and societal progress.
