The President of Koya University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, accompanied by members of the University Council and the Director of Media, visited the scouting camp for first-year students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences.

The visit took place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Upon arrival, the President and the delegation were welcomed by the camp's supervising professors. During the tour, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq inspected the various camp sections and student teams, praising their diverse activities and handicrafts. He engaged in discussions with the participating students, inquiring about their skills and the challenges they encountered during the camp.

"Student Success" Pillar and Labor Market Readiness 

Addressing the students, the President emphasized that such activities are a vital part of the first pillar of Koya University’s Strategic Plan: "Student Success." He stated that the university’s vision is to equip students with both academic knowledge and practical leadership skills, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of the modern labor market.

Furthermore, he highlighted Koya University’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. He noted that scouting camps are excellent platforms for fostering environmental responsibility and developing students' physical and mental resilience simultaneously.
