Koya University President Inspects Exam Halls, Reaffirms Commitment to "Student Success" Pillar

As part of the ongoing final examinations for the second semester, Koya University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, conducted a field inspection tour of several exam halls across the campus. The visit aimed to monitor and evaluate the examination process firsthand, ensuring that the standards established under the university’s strategic plan—specifically the "Student Success" pillar—are upheld.
Strategic Oversight of the Examination Process
The inspection tour included visits to the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Health. President Sadeeq was accompanied by the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali, the Vice President for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ajin Tahir Sabir, the University Council Secretary, Chya Jawhar, and the Director of Media, Muhammed Karim Saedgul.
Direct Engagement with Students and Committees
The tour featured multiple stops, beginning at the Faculty of Education, where the President was received by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Safin Jalal, and the examination committee. During this visit, President Sadeeq engaged in productive discussions with both students and invigilators, addressing key aspects of the examination procedures and ensuring that the academic environment remains conducive to student performance.
Subsequent visits were conducted at the Department of Religious Education, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Health. At each location, the President met with the respective deans and examination committees, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Ilham Majeed Qadir and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kosrat Najad Kaka, to discuss the operational flow of the exams.
Prioritizing a Conducive Academic Environment
Throughout the tour, President Sadeeq emphasized that these inspections are a regular practice aimed at evaluating and improving the examination experience. Beyond the administrative oversight, the President held informal discussions with various groups of students outside the exam halls to listen to their concerns and feedback.
Concluding his visit, the President expressed his appreciation for the dedication shown by the examination committees. He stressed the university’s absolute commitment to fostering a calm, supportive, and fair academic environment that empowers students to excel in their assessments.
