In a heartfelt and national initiative reflecting loyalty to her ancestral homeland, Dr. Adeeba Mohammed-Amin Al-Khattat, a well-known physician originally from Koya and currently residing in Baghdad, has donated a valuable collection of more than 1,000 diverse book titles to the Central Library of Koya University. The donation covers various fields, including Medicine, General Sciences, Agriculture, and Linguistics.
Official Reception and Campus Visit
The Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali, received Dr. Adeeba and her accompanying delegation at the University Presidency. During the meeting, Dr. Yadgar expressed Koya University’s deep gratitude for this significant contribution made by a loyal daughter of the city, highlighting its impact on supporting students and researchers. In response, Dr. Adeeba expressed her profound joy in returning to her hometown, Koya, emphasizing the vital need for ongoing support to this academic institution.
Presentation of a Symbolic Gift
As a gesture of mutual respect during the visit, Dr. Adeeba Mohammed-Amin Al-Khattat presented a beautifully bound copy of the Holy Quran as a symbolic gift to the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali.
