For the third consecutive year, Koya University marked a dynamic and impactful presence at the 4th annual "Next Step" Education Fair, dedicated to guiding 12th-grade high school graduates in choosing academic disciplines and university programs.

Held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Sulaymaniyah, the fair saw active participation from a specialized delegation representing Koya University's Directorate of General Registration, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Safia Sabir. The team engaged directly with prospective applicants, offering comprehensive guidance and rigorous academic advising regarding admission pathways across various faculties and departments.

Presidential Inspection and Strategic Panel Participation

The President of Koya University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed H.S. Zangana, visited the university’s exhibition pavilion to evaluate operations firsthand. He commended the team's dedicated efforts and systematic presentation of institutional programs to the visiting students.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Zangana participated as a keynote speaker in an interactive panel discussion during the expo, articulating Koya University's institutional vision regarding sustainability. He underscored the "Green University" initiative as a foundational pillar under the Koya University Strategic Plan (2023–2027), emphasizing the vital role of higher education institutions in advancing sustainable development and ecological responsibility.
