On February 21, 2023, the second and final day of the International Thematic Conference “Heritage in Danger” has been carried at Koya University in coordination with the European Network for Architectural History EAHN and with the financial support of the Ongoing Documentation of Mesopotamian Monuments Project. We were pleased with the attendance of Mr. Najat Abdullah, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government for Artistic Affairs.

The plan of the second day was taken off by the first keynote speaker Dr.Abdullah Khurshid, also with presenting 8 papers by the researchers. 

Then, a gallery was opened by Asst. Prof Dr. Muhammad Hassib and Mr. Najat Abdullah about some heritage items and photographs. 

Later on, the conference was concluded by Mr.Panayotis with the conference recommendations about heritage for the academics and government officials. 

Finally, the researchers and all parties that were actively involved in the success of the conference were proudly recognized and received appreciation certificates.
