The Physics Department at Koya University sent second- and fourth-year students on a scouting trip to Dukan Dam.

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Through the guidance of Asst. Lecturer Darya Rasul Ahmed and Halgurd Qadir Osman, the second and fourth year students of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Health, Koya University, visited Dukan Dam.

The purpose of the scientific tour was to gain knowledge about how to use hydropower to generate electricity, how the turbines operate to produce electricity, and how to produce and distribute electricity in urban areas. These questions were discussed by the students.

The Physics Department is dedicated to offering learners with high-quality course content and has 23 academic staff members. The Department of Physics intends to extensively engage in both teaching and research in other areas of science, such as technology.
