A group of the Koya University staff paid a visit to the President Jalal Talabani Foundation to extend congratulations on its founding.

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, a staff of Koya University led by the president of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq and vice president for Scientific Postgraduate Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr.Haider Lashkary, vice president for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Qaraman Nader, dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Dawan Hawezi, dean of the Faculty of Engineering Galawezh Bakr Bapir and Director of Media of Koya University Mohammed Kareem Saedgul congratulated the establishment of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation in Sulaimani.

The Jalal Talabani Foundation President, ambassador Dr. Mohammed Sabir Ismail, members of the Foundation Yousef Zozani, Rahbar Sayed Braim, Halsho Tahir, as well as representatives of the Foundation's administrative and communications team were present during the meeting. Mohammad Sabir warmly welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for their visit.

Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Sabir discussed the institution's mission, objectives, and significance while highlighting its projects and plans.

In turn, the President Jalal Talabani Foundation was commended by the President of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, who also emphasized the significance of establishing such an organization to maintain, keep, and resurrect this great man in future generations' memories.

The Koya University president spoke about President Jalal Talabani's contribution in the university's founding and his constant support of the university.

In another part of his statement, the president of Koya University stated the university's willingness to work with the "President Jalal Talabani Foundation" in all areas and suggested hosting an international conference in President Jalal Talabani's honor.

Following that, each member from Koya University staff extended their congratulations.
