The Department of Clinical Psychology at Koya University organized a workshop to discuss the fourth-year students' research papers.

On Monday, May 8, 2023, in the presence of Koya University's Vice president for Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Qaraman Nadir Sheikh Bzeni, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Health, Asst. Prof. Dr. Taha Jalal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science and Health, Mr. Hawkar Jaafar, Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jabar Ahmad, Head of the Department of Education and Psychology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ismail, and students from the Departments of Clinical Psychology and Education, it took place in Koya University's central library hall.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Taha Jalal, Dean of the faculty of Science and Health, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jabar Ahmad, head of the department of Clinical psychology, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ismail, head of the department of Education and psychology, all engaged during the workshop's opening session.

In another section of the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Qaraman Nadir Sheikh Bzeni, Koya University's Vice president for Student Affairs, shared a few remarks in which he acknowledged the workshop's organizers, expressed appreciation for the activity, and urged the Koya University Presidency to support the students in carrying out such activities.

The workshop was arranged with the intention of encouraging discussion among students as well as to increase awareness and knowledge of how students' research is conducted as well as the goals and methodologies used in research. Students also presented their research projects in two panels.

The following papers were given at the first panel, which was moderated by a student named Pana Abubakr:

The paper "The Relationship Between Quality of Life and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder" was delivered by student Ikhlas Shabaz Ahmad.

The paper "Bullying Victimization: The Role of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Self-Esteem among High School Students" was delivered by student Yad Dana Khalil.

The research on "Religiosity and faith maturity among college students of private and public universities" was presented by student Salwa Nuraddin Omar.

The research on "Domestic Violence and Child Neglect among High Schools (Correlational Study)" was given by student Rahima Baiz Othman.

The paper "Meaning of life and psychological well-being among chronically ill patients" was delivered by student Ahmad Khasro Salih.

"The Relationship between Childhood Maltreatment and Resilience to Offending Maltreated Adults" was the title of the student Pana Abubakr's paper.

The following papers were presented during the second panel, which was moderated by student Ibrahim Abdullah Sofi:

The study "Attachment and Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms Among Patients with Mental Disorders" was presented by student Shilan Hamza Saeed.

"The relationship between resilience and posttraumatic growth among survivors of violence among Koya University students" was the title of the student Huda Shwan Abdulrahman's paper.

Research on "The Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Coping Mechanism and Emergency Medical Staff in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq" was given by student Shaima Abdul Jabbar Mikail.

The association between body image and borderline personality among students in the faculty of science and health at Koya University was the topic of a paper by student Lana Bahjat Abdullah.

The association between sleep quality and personality traits among high school students was the focus of student Elaf Khidr Hama's study presentation.

Student Mohammad Abdullah Sofi presented his paper on "Relationship between Adolescents' Sleep Quality and Problematic Use of Social Media."

"Spirituality and Quality of Life Among the Elderly" was a paper that student Ibrahim Abdullah Sofi presented.

The session came to a close with awards being given to Department of Clinical Psychology fourth-year students who conducted research.
