Koya University hosted a workshop on how to implement master's, doctoral, and diploma programs in Postgraduate studies during the 2023–2024 academic year.

On Sunday, October 22, 2023, Koya University organized a workshop on how to implement postgraduate education courses for the academic year 2023–2024. The workshop was attended by Vice President for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Halgurd Sarhang Maghdid, as well as Heads of Departments, Heads of Postgraduate Affairs Units, and Quality Assurance Units of all Faculties.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Halgurd Sarhang Maghdid, Vice President for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs, made a speech to officially begin the workshop. He greeted everyone and gave an overview of the workshop's objectives. To the departments of Koya University, to execute the curriculum in the areas of master's, doctorate, and diploma in compliance with the Ministry's requirements and in a way that aligns with the university's principles and philosophy of education.

The workshop was presented in two panels, the first panel was presented by the Director of Postgraduate Studies Directorate of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kosrat Nejad Kaka on the guidelines of courses for postgraduate studies and the second panel was presented by the Director of Quality Assurance Directorate of Koya University Asst. Prof. Dr. Akar Hawre Tahir presented the calculation of Credit ECTS for postgraduate studies in the fields of Diploma, Master, and Doctorate.
