A six-day visit to the provinces of Baghdad, Najaf, and Basra is being made by a Koya University delegation under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq.

A delegation from Koya University arrived at the Iraqi Government's Ministry of Justice on the first day of their visit and they were greeted by the Minister of the Ministry of Justice Dr. Khalid Shwani.

At the very beginning of the meeting, Dr. Khalid Shwani, Minister of Justice, welcomed the delegation, expressed his excitement with their presence, and pointed out that Koya University is a gift from President Jalal Talabani, and that it is everyone's duty to support it.

For his part, Koya University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq appreciated the Justice Minister's commitment to protecting major national issues.

The Koya University President proposed a plan for a collaborative conference between Koya University and the Ministry of Justice as well as the areas of coordination between the two institutions.

Koya University's President stated at the meeting that Koya University is willing to offer training programs to the Ministry of Justice's institutions.

In the aftermath, the Minister of Justice expressed his appreciation for the Koya University President’s suggestion and stated that the Ministry of Justice could potentially play a leading part in organizing the conference. He also pledged to take the necessary steps to make it happen.

The Koya University President presented the Minister of Justice a copy of Koya University's 2023–2027 strategic plan and a shield representing the institution.

It is noteworthy that the Koya University delegation includes the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhin Tahir Saber, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Dawan Jamal Hawezi, Director General of Research and Development Centers Asst. Prof. Dr. Galawezh Bakr Bapir, Dr. Ahmed Mazn, and Media Director Asst. Lect. Mohammed Karim Saedgul.
