Koya University and Huawei signed off on a memorandum of understanding
Koya University and Huawei signed off on a memorandum of understanding. At Koya University, Huawei intends to establish a research and coordinating academy. For Koya University students and graduates, training programs will be performed through the academy, and they will receive Huawei credentials as a result. Graduates from this academy will have greater work opportunities and more employment opportunities available to them.

At Koya University a Workshop on "Cancer Follow Up" was Held
A workshop on medical practices for cancer follow-up, identification, and treatment was held by the faculty of medicine at Koya University in association with TAKVIN Organization for Development and Humanitarian Aid. The workshop was titled "Cancer Follow Up."

Koya University received a visit by a group of officials from the Iraqi Ministry of the Environment
The Iraqi Ministry of Environment team was met by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hasib Siddiq, the Koya University’s president, today, Monday, April 10, 2023. They were accompanied by Dr. Kamran Ali Hassan, the ministry's deputy, and Mrs. Kurdo Omar, a member of the Council of Representatives of Iraq.

A workshop was held by the Education, Peace and Politics Project at Koya University
within the context of the British Academy-funded Education, Peace and Policy Project (EPP). The University of Ulster and Koya University collaborated on the research. A workshop to choose a team of Koya University researchers who would undertake research within the framework of the project "Education, Peace and Policy Project (EPP)" was held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in the hall of the Pedagogy Center at the Presidency of Koya University.
