Koya University's departments of Chemistry, Biology, and Medical microbiology collaborated on a workshop
The Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University hosted a combined workshop with the departments of chemistry, biology, and medical microbiology titled "Added Chemical Ingredients in the Food and Cosmetics Industry, How to Store and Relationship with Human Health." A joint workshop on conducting scientific and health research was hosted by the departments of chemistry, biology, and medical microbiology on March 1 and 2, 2023, with the attention of an impressive number of teachers and students from Koya University's Faculty of Science and Health.

Physics Department second- and fourth-year students went on a scouting trip
The Physics Department at Koya University sent second- and fourth-year students on a scouting trip to Dukan Dam. On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Through the guidance of Asst. Lecturer Darya Rasul Ahmed and Halgurd Qadir Osman, the second and fourth year students of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Health, Koya University, visited Dukan Dam.

A scientific visit was undertaken by medical microbiology department fourth-year students
A scientific trip to Sulaimani was organized by Koya University's Department of Medical Microbiology's fourth-year students. The Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of Science and Health, fourth-year students, under the supervision of M. Soma Fatah and Asst. Lecturer Drakhshan Ismahil, managed a scientific visit to Sulaimani on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The students went to “Shah Mushroom Factory and the Jawanro Dairy Factory '', exploring various areas of each.

Koya University's physics department held a workshop
A workshop titled "Application of Physics in Daily Life" was conducted by the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University in the seminar hall of the Scientific and Health Research Center. The Koya University Department of Physics launched scientific and health studies on February 27–28, 2023, in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Taha Jalal, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Health, and a sizable number of faculty teachers.

International Conference (Heritage In Danger) Guest’s Tour To The Ancient Heritage Places Of Koya
As it has been planned in the first day of the International Conference (Heritage in Danger), Monday, February 20, Koya University organized a tour to Koya city for the foreign guests of the conference. This two-day conference is jointly organized by the European Architectural History Network (EAHN) and Koya University to be one of the EAHN thematic conferences for the year 2023.
