In a ceremony attended by the President of Koya University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, and the Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali, the computer lab and faculty lounge in the College of Science and Health were officially opened.
On Sunday, October 10, 2024, the ceremony was graced by the presence of the University President, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Yadgar Abdullah Ali, along with the Dean of the College of Science and Health, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kosrat Najad Kakay, members of the College Council, Engineer Randi Qubad from the Engineering and Projects Department, as well as faculty members and students.
Over the past two years, Koya University has undertaken an extensive campaign to renovate its faculties, provide educational resources for lecture halls and laboratories, and implement significant projects. These include establishing a lecture hall for the College of Medicine, building a cafeteria for the College of Medicine, renovating lecture halls, updating the gates of the Engineering and Education faculties, upgrading dormitories, and numerous other initiatives under the supervision of the Engineering and Projects Department.
Koya University is committed to its strategic plan, particularly its core initiative, "Student Success," aiming to provide a modern and comprehensive educational environment that meets the requirements of academic programs.
