Aiming to enhance the academic writing skills of faculty members and postgraduate students at Koya University, the Directorate of Research and Development Centers organized a course titled "How to Write Research Papers," with the participation of 190 faculty members and researchers from the university. The course lasted six days.

On Sunday, 19 Khazalwari 2724 according to the Kurdish calendar, corresponding to November 10, 2024, the Directorate of Research and Development Centers at Koya University launched an intensive six-day course titled "How to Write Research Articles."

The course ran from November 10 to 17, 2024, at the level of Koya University and was presented by Dr. Fahmi Fariq, Dr. Karzan Abdulkarim Omar, Dr. Ribaz Anwar Omar, Dr. Rawaz Rostam Hama Ameen, Dr. Abdulbasit Kamel Faiq, and Dr. Karwan Mustafa Saeed, who are among the most published researchers at Koya University.

On the first day of the course, the Director of the Research and Development Centers Directorate at Koya University, Dr. Halkurd Sarhang Magdeed, highlighted that the course aims to enhance the academic writing capabilities of faculty members and researchers at Koya University and to promote research publication.

At the end of the course, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participating instructors and committee members of the course.
