A Hall Was Opened at Koya University Under the Name of The Late Dr. Akram Hashim Taha On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, the Koya University Council, led by University President Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hasib Seddiq, attended the opening ceremony of a hall named after “The Late Dr. Akram Hashim Taha.

A Delegation From Gazprom Company Visited Koya University  On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Zangana welcomed the Russian Gazprom delegation in his office at Koya University. The delegation consisted of Yuri Andreviski, the Director of Human Resources, and Mr. Lawan Mahmoud, the Director of Gazprom 's Social Relations Department.

Koya University President Attended The Collaborative Course Between Koya University and Sookmyung Women's University Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Zangana closely observed the collaborative course between Koya University and Sookmyung Women's University In the university's video conference room.

Koya University has launched a Bologna Process training course. On October 16, 2022, KOU organized a Bologna Process teacher course which was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq Zangana, University president, the University Council, and 77 teachers. The course was opened with Dr.. Mohammed's speech in which he stressed on the importance of implementing the Bologna Process and the importance of training.

A Ph.D. Student at Koya University Participated in an International Symposium held in Greenville, South Carolina, USA Mr. Ahmed Abdulsalam Maaroof, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Koya University and a lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the same Faculty in Koya University has participated in the industrial combustion symposium organized by American Flame Research Committee (AFRC).

13 October, 2022

A lecturer at Koya University participated in a special program of the US State Department. Ahmad Taifor Azeez, Lecture at Department of of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, FacuLty of Engineering at Koya University, participated in the programz “Country FulBright". The program is a special project of the United States and is supported by the State Department and aims to exchange cultures between different countries and to introduce people outside the United States to the education system in US universities.

12 October, 2022

The Third course of pedagogy has ended at the Pedagogical Center of Koya University. On Sunday, October 9, 2022, with the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Sedeeq Zangana, President of Koya University and Asst. Prof. Dr. Haidar Lashkry Khidr V.P for scientific and postgraduate affairs the third course of pedagogy of Koya University ended in a special ceremony and the graduates were awarded certificates of participation.

09 October, 2022

The Directorate staff of the Behar English Language Center changed and the center moved to another building within the Koya University Campus  When Mr. Ibrahim Abdulrahman Ahmed assumed the role of the Director of Bahar English Language Center; Karzan Osman Dawd was appointed as the head of the Center's curriculum and study program.
