The Strategic Plan of Koya University was Announced in a Grand Ceremony
In a formal event, Koya University announced its five-year strategic plan. On September 10, 2023, in the presence of the Koya University President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haseeb Siddiq, the Advisor and Representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Amanj Abdullah Saeed, members of the Koya University Council, administrative, Political party members, and social figures from Koya, as well as foreign ambassadors and consuls in South Kurdistan, in a formal event, Koya University's strategic plan was released.

Within the Context of a Partnership Between Koya University and the (WFP), 20 Youths in Koya have Started their Own Businesses
After submitting a proposal to the World Food Program (WFP) to promote employment possibilities in the agricultural business, Koya University was awarded 114 million Iraqi dinars in April of the current year. Twenty youths from Koya who submitted business plans and were selected from 40 applicants for employment in the field of agricultural entrepreneurship were able to use this financial assistance to launch their own businesses.
