Koya University holds a commemorative Ceremony Honoring the Late Lecturer Mariwan Asaad Samad. In a heartfelt tribute, Koya University held a memorial event on Thursday, January 29, 2026, to honor the memory of the late lecturer Mariwan Asaad Samad.  The ceremony took place at the University Presidency Hall, attended by the President of Koya University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hasib Siddiq, and the late's family members. At the beginning of the event, 16 candles were lit, each representing a year of his dedicated service at Koya University
