A workshop titled "Application of Physics in Daily Life" was conducted by the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University in the seminar hall of the Scientific and Health Research Center.

The Koya University Department of Physics launched scientific and health studies on February 27–28, 2023, in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Taha Jalal, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Health, and a sizable number of faculty teachers.

On Thursday, 23 February 2023 Koya University had a workshop in respect of International Mother Language Day, that was planned and managed by Kurdish Department at Faculty of Education. In honor of this special occasion, the Department of Kurdish Language, Faculty of Education, Koya University, hosted a workshop titled "International Mother Language Day."

As it has been planned in the first day of the International Conference (Heritage in Danger), Monday, February 20, Koya University organized a tour to Koya city for the foreign guests of the conference.

This two-day conference is jointly organized by the European Architectural History Network (EAHN) and Koya University to be one of the EAHN thematic conferences for the year 2023.

For the purpose of enhancing their critical thinking skills and gives students a chance to think about a topic or theme from a different perspective, On 21 February 2023, Students from the Education and Psychology Department went on a field trip to University of Sulaimani and Leaders Private School. 

The trip has been organized and supervised by Ms. Bahat Abdulrazaq and Mr.Abbas Shareef. 

On February 21, 2023, the second and final day of the International Thematic Conference “Heritage in Danger” has been carried at Koya University in coordination with the European Network for Architectural History EAHN and with the financial support of the Ongoing Documentation of Mesopotamian Monuments Project. We were pleased with the attendance of Mr. Najat Abdullah, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government for Artistic Affairs.

KUJHSS published 15 Researches on English Language and Literature in a New Issue

Koya university’s journal of humanities and social sciences published a new issue that contains 15 researches on the English language and literature. The new edition of KUJHSS is specified for English research that contains 20 researches of 38 local and international researchers, in aspects of Administration and Economy, Accounting, English language, English literature, translation, and English learning for foreigners. This Issue of KUJHSS consists of 188 pages.

A workshop on the Bologna process entitled "Bologna process: Market Oriented Curriculum Design" was held at the Center of Pedagogy and Academic Development at Koya University.

On Monday, December 16, 2023, the Center for Pedagogy and Academic Development of Koya University held a workshop entitled "Bologna process: Market Oriented Curriculum Design" on market-oriented curriculum and job opportunities for the heads of departments of Koya University.

A group of researchers from the faculties of engineering, science and health at Koya University have published a new invention.

A team of researchers conducted a cooperative study from both Faculty of engineering, Software engineering Department and Faculty of science and health, Chemistry Department about “A Novel Poisoned Water Detection Method Using Smartphone Embedded Wi-Fi Technology and Machine Learning Algorithms” and published in “arXiv” international journal.
