Assistant Professor Dr. Taghreed Khaleefa Mohammed Ali at the Department of Architecture Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Koya University with a research group from other Iraqi University, published a research article entitled “Fresh and hardened properties of lightweight self-compacting concrete containing walnut shells as coarse aggregate” in the  Journal of King Saud University – Engineering Sciences . The paper presents the mechanical properties of sustainable SCC made by using ground walnut shells. The Journal of King Saud University – Engineering Sciences is indexed by SCOPUS with Quartitle: Q1.

Today, 27th May 2020, the deirectorate of Quality Assurance at Koya University launched a smart search engine web-application. This search engine helps the academics and researchers to search for any scientific journal indexes by one click. The search engine (jindex) is capable to search 7 databases belong to the Clarivate analytics cores database of the WOS (SCIE, SSCI, AHCI and ESCI), Scopus, Scimago and DOAJ.
