The Pedagogical Center of Koya University hosted a workshop

A workshop on the Bologna process entitled "Bologna process: Market Oriented Curriculum Design" was held at the Center of Pedagogy and Academic Development at Koya University. On Monday, December 16, 2023, the Center for Pedagogy and Academic Development of Koya University held a workshop entitled "Bologna process: Market Oriented Curriculum Design" on market-oriented curriculum and job opportunities for the heads of departments of Koya University.

Koya University researchers have revealed a new invention

A group of researchers from the faculties of engineering, science and health at Koya University have published a new invention. A team of researchers conducted a cooperative study from both Faculty of engineering, Software engineering Department and Faculty of science and health, Chemistry Department about “A Novel Poisoned Water Detection Method Using Smartphone Embedded Wi-Fi Technology and Machine Learning Algorithms” and published in “arXiv” international journal.  The team had the following members: -Asst. prof Dr.Halgord Srhang Maghdid

A WFP grant has been allocated to Koya University to support agricultural entrepreneurship.

  The World Food Program (WFP) has provided financial support to Koya University in order to develop job opportunities in the agricultural sector for the Koya district. Following the submission of the proposal by the Directorate of Career Services of Koya University, a grant in the amount of 114 million 954 thousand Iraqi Dinars was granted in order to work to foster chances for entrepreneurship and leadership in the sector of agriculture. It still includes 160 hours of instruction from 15 professors and trainers.

Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bahaddin Ali and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawkar Salar Ahmad, a lecturer at the University of Sulaimani, and a delegation of the Kurdistan Sports Journalists' Committee.
